Assessment

Language assessment is a complex task. Per ACTFL's recommendations, language assessment should test a student's writing skills, listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and intercultural competence. As such, language assessment can take many forms. Below are a few of the forms of assessment that I have implemented recently.

-
Student-written books
-
Recorded speech using Flipgrid
-
Student-created comic strips
-
A class book of recipes
-
Family trees
-
Green screen skits
-
PowerPoint presentations
-
EdPuzzle listening assessments using French realia (news segments, cartoons, interviews, recordings)
-
Reading assessments using French realia (articles, infographics, letters, catalogs)
